Proposed Ordinance Notice is hereby given that the Board of Supervisors of Daugherty Township, Beaver County, Pennsylvania, intends to enact the following ordinance at their Regular Meetingon August 13, 2008 at 7:00 P.M. at the Daugherty Township Municipal Building, 2182 Mercer Road, New Brighton, Pennsylvania. The following is a summary of the proposed ordinance. A complete copy of the proposed ordinance is available on-line at www.daughertytownship-pa.gov as well as on file in the office of the Township Manager, the Beaver County Law Library and in the office of the Beaver County Times where it can be inspected during regular business hours. PROPOSED ORDINANCE 129, ZONING—– An ordinance repealing Ordinance 76, Pornography, Ordinance 90, Zoning, and Ordinance 99 Cellular Communication Antennae, Towers and Structures, and enacting a new ordinance to be entitled the Daugherty Township Zoning Ordinance, to promote, protect, and facilitate the public health, safety, morals, general welfare, coordinated and practical community development, proper density of population, civil defense, disaster evacuation, the provision of adequate light and air, police protection, vehicle parking and loading space, transportation, water, sewerage, schools, public grounds and other public requirements, as well as, to prevent overcrowding of land, blight, danger and congestion in travel and transportation, loss of health, life or property from fire, flood, panic or other dangers made in accordance with an overall program, and with consideration for the character of Daugherty Township, its various parts, and the suitability of the various parts for particular uses and structures.
